Designed to allow expansion of those Beovisions with only one SCART socket, such as the LX2502 and MX5000. It enables three inputs to be configured for a variety of B&O devices to be steered by the BeoLink 1000 remote. In addition, the AVX 1 can also be used with later BeoVisions to expand the second AV input. The 7-pin DIN sockets are to integrate an audio system. The AVX 1 has no built-in processor, but instead functions as a simple signal router.
The latest software version for the AVX 1 was 1.4, which can be ordered via part number 8341353.
If desired, the AVX 1 can be hidden inside the metal 'foot' of the MX/LX stand.
