Sending and Receiving a Private Message ( PM )
One to One
On the new BeoWorld Forum, we have kept the functionality of being able to send another user a "PM" - which means "Private Message".
This effectively enables you to send a message to another BeoWorld member without it being viewable by anyone other than the sender and the recipient.
In order to do this - you need to do one of two things.
Click on the members name above their avatar - as in image "A" - and you will see the light blue wording "Private Message" on their profile. Simply click this to enter the PM function.
or
On the post the member has made on any thread, you will see a row of options - one of which will be "Contact" - see image "B". Once clicked this will bring up an option box - see image "C" - then simply click on "send ****** a Private Message" to enter the PM function.
Reading Personal Messages
In order to read Personal Messages, you can either respond to the automatically generated emails and follow the links - or you can manually check them at any time by clicking on the "Inbox" tab at the top of the page - see image "D"
We do hope this has cleared up the question for you, but if you need any more help with Community Server and its functions - please click here for a comprehensive guide.
