DVD1 Service Profile
DVD1 is the first Bang
& Olufsen stand-alone DVD/CD audio product. The player is based on the latest DVD unit, ASD1, from Philips
and is the same unit as in BeoCenter 1. Signal out options are Composite Video, RGB or Y/C.
Selection is via a switch.
From week 33/2002, the DVD unit ASD1 and power supply with software 1.6 were
replaced by DVD unit SD3.3 and power supply with software 3.1. Seen from a technical point of view,
this was a minor update as it offers the customer a slightly improved
operation. The first DVD1 with these new modules has serial
number 16255681.
The other modules are compatible.
